1. Services

Autoglow provides professional cleaning and facility maintenance services including, but not limited to: office and room cleaning, carpet shampooing, window cleaning, toilet sanitation, corridor and reception cleaning, pest and ant control, vehicle cleaning, and any other services agreed in writing between the parties.

The specific scope of services, frequency, staffing levels, and service locations shall be agreed and confirmed in a written quotation or service agreement signed by both parties. No verbal agreement shall be binding on Autoglow unless confirmed in writing.

Autoglow reserves the right to subcontract any part of the services to qualified personnel, provided that Autoglow remains fully responsible for the quality and delivery of the agreed services.

2. Quotations and Pricing

All quotations issued by Autoglow are valid for 30 days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated. Prices quoted are in Malawi Kwacha (MWK) and are inclusive of all applicable taxes and levies unless expressly stated otherwise.

Autoglow reserves the right to revise prices for ongoing contracts in line with significant changes in the cost of labour, materials, or transport, provided that no less than 30 days' written notice is given before any revision takes effect.

Any additional services requested outside the agreed scope will be quoted and charged separately.

3. Payment Terms

• Invoices are payable within 30 days of the invoice date, unless a different schedule has been agreed in writing.
• For one-off or ad hoc jobs, full payment or a deposit of 50% may be required prior to commencement, at Autoglow's discretion.
• Payments may be made by bank transfer to: FDH Bank, Autoglow Cleaning Services Limited, Account No. 1570100376355.
• Late payments attract an interest charge of 2% per month on the outstanding balance, applied from the due date.
• Autoglow reserves the right to suspend services without liability if payment remains outstanding for more than 14 days beyond the due date.

4. Client Obligations

• Provide safe, unobstructed access to all areas requiring cleaning at the agreed times.
• Provide access to water, electricity, and utilities reasonably necessary for cleaning services, at no additional cost to Autoglow.
• Notify Autoglow promptly of any health, safety, or security requirements applicable at the premises.
• Ensure that valuables, sensitive documents, or fragile items are secured or removed from areas to be cleaned.
• Treat all Autoglow staff with respect and dignity at all times.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling

• Cancellations must be made with at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged at 50% of the agreed service fee.
• For contract services, either party may terminate by providing 30 days' written notice. Early termination by the Client without valid cause may attract a fee equivalent to one month's service charges.
• Autoglow may terminate a contract immediately and without liability if the Client is in material breach of these Terms, including non-payment.
• Rescheduling is accommodated at no charge where at least 24 hours' notice is given, subject to availability.

6. Quality and Complaints

Autoglow is committed to delivering high-quality services. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of the service, you must notify us in writing within 48 hours of the service being delivered.

Upon receiving a valid complaint, Autoglow will investigate promptly and, where the complaint is upheld, arrange a remedial visit at no additional charge. Complaints received after 48 hours may not qualify for a free remedial visit.

7. Liability

• Our total liability for any single claim shall not exceed the value of the service fee paid for the specific service that gave rise to the claim.
• We are not liable for any loss, damage, or theft of unsecured valuables, cash, jewellery, or sensitive items left in cleaning areas.
• We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss arising from the provision or non-provision of our services.
• We are not liable for damage caused by pre-existing faults, wear and tear, or items not disclosed to our staff prior to cleaning.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for fraud, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

8. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary, sensitive, or commercially valuable information disclosed during the business relationship. This obligation continues for two (2) years after the termination of any service agreement. Our staff will not disclose, copy, or remove any client information or materials encountered during service delivery.

9. Health, Safety & Environment

Our staff are provided with appropriate PPE and trained in the safe use and disposal of cleaning chemicals. We use eco-friendly, non-toxic cleaning products wherever practicable and dispose of all waste in compliance with Malawian environmental regulations.

The Client is responsible for informing Autoglow of any hazardous materials or substances present at the premises prior to commencement of work.

10. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be in breach of these Terms or liable for any failure or delay in performance arising from circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including acts of God, floods, fire, government actions, civil unrest, or epidemic. The affected party shall notify the other as soon as practicable and shall resume performance as soon as reasonably possible.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Malawi. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Malawi.

12. Amendments

Autoglow reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be published on our website with a revised effective date. For ongoing contracts, any material amendment will be communicated in writing with at least 30 days' notice.
